Red wine tastes divine, but even a small drop of it could permanently ruin any fabric if not treated right.
When the stain is on your clothes:
The important thing is to act straight away because an old stain is quite difficult to remove. Use a cloth to absorb it and rinse it with sparkling water or if you don’t have any, try still cold water instead. Apply soap or detergent, rinse and dry. Repeat if necessary.
When the stain is on your carpet:
Follow the same procedure as with clothing. If the stain doesn’t come out, use carpet shampoo.
